From time loops to murder mysteries -- drama is a vast genre.

There is nothing I can say to accurately describe it, besides its character-driven plot, plus its complex characters, and obstacles that are overcome throughout the show.

Poker Face features Natasha Lyonne, dubbed a “human lie detector", fugitive Charlie Cale uncovers crime at every stop.

Throughout two seasons, Charlie makes and loses friends, saves lives, and brings justice to those around her.

For this show specifically, I would say it is mostly plot-driven, Charlie is the only consistent recurring character, and usually has new co-stars each episode.
